I finally have returned to the stage. I went to Fibbers last night and it was the very last slot before close and I played on the acoustic, but it was enjoyable non the less. I also have some video shot from last night. I'll try to get that posted on YouTube as soon as I can.

Hello there!

I haven't updated this site in quite a while.

A problem I have is the longer I am away from performing, the less I feel comfortable returning. I become socially awkward. In my previous update from January I stated I was in the process of organizing some shows for this year. Which was true, but have opted to instead continue on with open mic's again, starting with Fibbers sometime this month.

A lot has changed for me personally since this year has begun and I've learned to enjoy what I can. Among my time off from existance I've started writing a lot of new material. I know it's very early to mention another album so soon (3 months since the release of Vacation), but I feel the need to put this information out there and let it be known that I'm not done yet. When I finish working out this new material I plan on recording it possibally before the year is out. With a potential release late 2009 - early 2010.

Since the release of Vacation, I feel that I've lost so much time to my personal issues and I'll be looking forward to returning to doing what I love/do best.

Also in news, the new album is for sale in at least one local vendor; The Canape Cafe in downtown Pictou.

On this weeks East Coast Road Trip (ECFM 94.1), "2073" was chosen to be in the list of the Best of 2008.

New Album Is Here!

The new album from Andrew Spicer entitled "Vacation" is available November 19th. We've set it up on this brand new website so that you can listen to streaming audio of songs from the new album as well as some from the first if you haven't heard it. Media section.

The new website should be clearer and easier to use that the first one, so sift around and check it out.

Also to mention, if you come out to see Andrew perform live, there are a few unique items available there as well; a CD version of the first single "Along Came Something I Didn't Expect", containing 3 extra songs on the disc that cannot be found on the new album, and packs of stickers and fridge magnets.
